Front Desk Medical Receptionist
A busy Pain Management practice is seeking a Front desk receptionist/coordinator. The position is available immediately. The ideal candidate must be a problem solver, able to multitask, have excellent customer service skills, have experience working in a medical office, be friendly and greet patients with a smile, and have computer knowledge. The Front Desk Receptionist is at the forefront of our customer service. This associate must understand customer service and enhance the customer experience.
Tasks this position requires
Greet patients
Answering multiple phone lines
Collect copays, past balances, and out-of-pocket if necessary
Schedule appointments
Answer patient questions
Maintain and create patient charts
Medical record requests
Check patients in/out
Verify insurance benefits
Scan medical records brought in by patients
Qualifications and Skills
Have a minimum of two years of experience in the medical field
Be a team player and work well with others
Be dependable, punctual, and professional
Be organized, efficient, and ethical
Be computer confident
Be able to multitask
Must be a self-starter with great attention to detail
Have the ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instruction
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience is a must
Speak to all callers in a friendly, courteous, professional manner.
Experience:
EMR Systems: 2 year (Preferred)
customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
office administration: 2 years (Preferred)
receptionist: 2 year (Preferred)
medical office: 2 years (Preferred)
