We are seeking a proficient and experienced Quality Control Manager to join our team at the manufacturing facility specializing in wood trusses and wall panels in Markle, Indiana. This position requires on-site presence at our plant in Markle. Responsibilities: • Implement Quality Control processes and procedures • Conduct regular inspections of wood truss and wall panel manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards • Identify process improvements and develop action plans for implementation • Collaborate with production teams to ensure consistent quality output • Conduct employee training on Quality Control processes and procedures • Conduct brief daily and weekly training meetings with team members Qualifications: • Experience in wood-framed buildings (residential or commercial) • Strong knowledge of wood framing and quality control principles and practices • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership ability • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Wood Species Identification: Recognizing different species of wood and understanding their unique characteristics and typical uses • Measurement and Dimensions: Proficiency in measuring lumber, including knowledge of board feet, linear feet, thickness, width, and length • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 yearly
