    We are looking for a Production Accountant to join our team at ALH Building Systems in Markle, Indiana. The selected individual will oversee inventory management and ensure the accurate handling of raw materials. This role calls for strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office, and a deep passion for the construction sector. Compensation is experience-based, ranging from $22 to $28 per hour, with both full-time and part-time positions available. Responsibilities: • Confirm incoming inventory • Actively participate in inventory storage plans • Count/confirm in-stock inventory for raw materials, manufacturing goods, and all consumables • Assist purchasing staff by checking upcoming materials needs against current and allocated inventory • Design and build Microsoft Excel-based spreadsheets as needed • Create outbound shipping documents and note any back-ordered items • Manage equipment maintenance spreadsheet and schedule maintenance tasks • Schedule and confirm outsourcing maintenance for assets not maintained by in-house staff • Assist plant manager with procurement of materials Qualifications: • Manufacturing and Inventory accounting experience • 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word • Experience with Sage accounting software a plus • Customer service oriented and excellent communication skills • Accuracy, organization skills, and attention to detail are essential • Experience including other accounting areas desirable • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus Compensation: $22 - $28 hourly
