    Seeking a meticulous and analytical individual to join our project management team as a Project Estimator. The perfect candidate will accurately estimate material quantities needed for construction projects, such as trusses, wall panels, loose lumber, structural beams, and sheathing products. The Project Estimator will have a vital role in the planning stage, ensuring efficient estimation of material resources to reduce waste and enhance cost-effectiveness. Responsibilities: • Review and interpret project blueprints, design drawings, and specifications to understand the scope of work and identify material requirements. • Perform detailed quantity take-offs and calculations to estimate the amount of materials needed for trusses, wall panels, loose lumber, structural beams, and sheathing goods. • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to clarify any ambiguities and ensure that estimates are precise and comprehensive. • Utilize software and technology for accurate and efficient estimation processes. • Collaborate with the procurement team to obtain quotes from suppliers and evaluate material costs. • Prepare and maintain a database of historical data for material usage to inform future estimates. • Produce and submit detailed reports and documentation outlining estimated material quantities and costs. • Stay up-to-date with market trends, pricing fluctuations, and advancements in building materials and construction methodologies. • Work closely with the project management team to align material estimates with project timelines and budget constraints. • Facilitate value engineering efforts to identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or project objectives. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Project Estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry. • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and the project lifecycle. • Proficiency in estimation software and tools • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication and negotiation skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 yearly
