We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter with a specialization in crafting Wood Wall Panels & Trusses for our establishment located in Markle, Indiana. The main responsibility of the ideal candidate will be to produce wooden elements for various structures such as retirement homes, housing developments, and hotels. Key tasks will focus on converting dimensional timber into custom-made wood panels and trusses. Responsibilities: • Cut, assemble, and fabricate wooden panels and trusses according to blueprints and specifications • Operate power tools and other machinery safely and efficiently • Measure and inspect completed panels and trusses to ensure compliance with quality standards • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to customer specifications • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures Qualifications: • Knowledge of reading and interpreting schematics • Familiarity with operating power tools and other machines • Providing a detailed and quality-oriented approach • Ability to work well with a group of people Compensation: $17 - $18 hourly
