    We are in need of a Production Supervisor to join our team at the truss and wall panel facility located in Markle, IN. In this role, you will have the important task of supervising staff to ensure that our manufacturing operations and products adhere to all required standards and guidelines. Specializing in projects like apartments, senior communities, and hotels, your success will rely heavily on your exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Please be aware that this position is on-site in Markle, IN, and does not allow for remote work arrangements. Responsibilities: • Supervise and facilitate the production process to guarantee that all products pass quality control • Direct and monitor small teams to fulfill high-level productivity and quality standards • Establish and keep an up-to-date production calendar • Constantly strive for production process improvement • Survey production data to detect areas that demand improvement • Monitor safety regulations and protocols • Put in place and manage quality control processes to ensure high-quality standards • Cooperate with other departments to guarantee an efficient and seamless production process Qualifications: • Experience in a manufacturing environment • Demonstrated leadership experience • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Strong analytical and organizational skills • Familiarity with production systems • Wood Species Identification: Recognizing different species of wood and understanding their unique characteristics and typical uses • Measurement and Dimensions: Proficiency in measuring lumber, including knowledge of board feet, linear feet, thickness, width, and length Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly
