    ALH Building Systems is the area's leading manufacturer of structural wood framing components including floor trusses, roof trusses, and wall panels. We supply framing packages for a large range of projects from senior living to motel, office, and apartment buildings. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales & Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing business strategies, and ensuring the successful execution of projects by fostering strong relationships with both customers and on-site teams. This position requires good communication with co-workers, construction companies, and tradespeople throughout all phases of construction. The applicant should be a proactive individual with a strong background in construction sales and project management. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute strategic plans to source and secure new leads, expand the customer base, and achieve sales targets. • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing consistent, high-quality service and support. • Conduct in-office and field meetings with potential and existing customers to discuss their framing needs and propose tailored solutions. • Collaborate with framing crews and other key stakeholders to monitor project progress, address any issues, and ensure completion within the set timelines and budget. • Understand industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and business decisions. • Work closely with the design and estimating teams to ensure accurate project proposals, quotes, and contracts. • Provide leadership and direction to the sales team, setting clear goals and performance metrics to drive accountability and results. Qualifications: • A bachelor's degree in business, construction management, or a related field. • Experience in sales within the construction industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. • Strong understanding of wood framing construction processes, materials, and market requirements. • Wood Species Identification: Recognizing different species of wood and understanding their unique characteristics and typical uses. • Measurement and Dimensions: Proficiency in measuring lumber, including knowledge of board feet, linear feet, thickness, width, and length. • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients and team members. • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and site visits. Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 yearly
