    Seeking a talented Production Manager to join our dynamic team located in Markle, Indiana. Ideal for individuals with strong expertise in managing wood framing manufacturing operations. Primary role involves overseeing and coordinating activities at our manufacturing facility. Responsible for ensuring smooth collaboration between our workforce and machinery capabilities. Responsibilities: • Oversee the production process, ensuring that production is cost-effective and timely, and quality standards are met. • Coordinate and control the production schedule; review and adjust as needed. • Determine the human and material resources required to meet production targets. • Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives and maintain consistency. • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the machinery, making necessary adjustments for optimal output. • Work closely with the workforce to cultivate a team culture, boosting morale and productivity. • Conduct performance reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancement strategies. • Manage and adhere to safety standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and laws. • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure a seamless customer experience from production to delivery. Qualifications: • Proven experience in a manufacturing management role, preferably in the wood framing industry. • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational efficiency. • Excellent leadership and people management skills. • Ability to implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency. • Exceptional communication skills. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc). • Wood Species Identification: Recognizing different species of wood and understanding their unique characteristics and typical uses. • Measurement and Dimensions: Proficiency in measuring lumber, including knowledge of board feet, linear feet, thickness, width, and length. Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000 yearly
