    Job Description

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

    • Work with leadership to develop procurement and plan business strategy
    • Implement excellent process discipline and technology systems to produce efficiency
    • Maintain Open-to-Buy, reviewing on a monthly and weekly level with Finance; ensure plans align with company-wide goals and manage the reconciliation on a regular basis
    • Optimize allocation strategy across e-commerce and retail locations
    • Deliver weekly business reports and forecasting that offer fact-based summaries of previous performance and profitability that will facilitate decision-making
    • Develop regional MSRP pricing plans by studying competitor pricing and trends in various markets
    • Ad hoc analysis
    • Track progress of inventory level targets and adjust plans as needed
    • Develop and manage a comprehensive product discontinuation process; set weekly markdown and transfer targets to optimize inventory across all channels
    • Work with multiple groups such as marketing, sample production, and finance to support all key product launches
    • Work with retail team to integrate customer feedback into future product procurement decisions; make recommendations for new styles based on previous and current selling performance and upcoming trends
    • Lead the product development committee and new product approval process
    • Manage and develop the purchasing team
    • Create analytics to evaluate appropriate stocking levels per product collection
    • Oversee Product Managers to develop annual strategic product development and buying plan
    • Aggressively negotiate and pursue cost savings opportunities with suppliers and manufacturers
    • Develop organizational capacity through improved programs, policies, and systems
    • Evaluate and analyze sales performance of all product categories
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure EDI vendor compliance
    • Work within framework of company's defined rules, procedures, goals and directives

    WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY:

    • 10+ years' Purchasing/Procurement and/or supply chain roles of increasing scope, complexity and leadership responsibility
    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in related field
    • Solid experience with Microsoft Dynamics (preferred), SAP, JD Edwards or Oracle.
    • Strong financial background with advanced in-depth knowledge of Excel
    • Effective business planning, project management, problem solving, negotiation skills, and financial analysis
    • Excellent communication and strong collaboration skills
    • Extreme attention to detail
    • Proven leader who can influence and inspire team members
    • Must be sharp, deadline focused and highly motivated
