 FULL-STACK DEVELOPER – WEST SAN FERNANDO VALLEY – IMMEDIATE HIRE!

TEMP-TO-HIRE POSITION FOR 3 MONTHS - CONVERSION TO FULLTIME FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Translate requirements and mockups into fully functioning websites using HTML/SCSS/JS/Liquid
• Deliver high output as an individual contributor across an array of projects while meeting deadlines
• Rigorously educate yourself on the latest development techniques and best practices
• Solve technical problems and communicate solutions to team members
• Create documentation for internal teams and provide reports updating tasks and responsibilities.
• Implement new digital technologies or development techniques that help to meet business objectives
• Research and deliver the best technical implementations for our inhouse brands
• Continuously look for ways to improve conversion rates and implement A/B tests
• Perform code reviews with valuable feedback. Know your role and own your work.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3+ years' experience: converting design mockups into interactive digital experiences; using Shopify and/or a similar CMS (i.e. WordPress, Magento, Drupal); developing Web applications for different client screen size; HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, Node, & Liquid; developing with prototype frameworks (Bootstrap, Material, etc.)
• 2+ years' experience developing RESTful endpoints; code version control systems (git)
• Deep understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment and multitask multiple projects at the same time.
• Excellent collaboration skills. Asking the right questions to the right people to find any gaps in communication when working cross-functionally with designers, business strategists, marketing
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines for more than one project at a time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter; a creative problem solver, thrives under pressure, enjoys fast-paced work, motivated by success
• Developing Shopify themes using Themekit
• Experience working with Jitterbit
• Developing with TypeScript and GraphQL
• Experience working with SalesForce
• Experience working with Google Tag Manager
• Versed in agile development and best practices
• Open-source contributor / active development community member
• Great grasp of SEO and Google Analytics fundamentals
• Understanding of how to implement and troubleshoot tracking pixels
• Shopify Certification preferred
• Understanding of conversion rate optimization solutions and best practices
