    We are currently seeking a highly motivated, results oriented professional for the role of Pharmaceutical Sales Consultant to manage a designated territory. While reporting to the District Manager, this role will provide critical support promoting the product portfolio in the assigned territory by:

    • Frequent collaboration with the District Manager to respond to their day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities

    • Possessing a high level of entrepreneurial drive to expand, grow and own your business by implementing the sales & brand strategies for assigned products within your territory

    • Analyzing territory information to create, implement and take ownership of your territory business plans to enhance customer relationships and drive territory sales results

    • Calling on targeted Health Care Providers (HCPs); key members of their office staff; local, regional, and national Key Opinion Leaders; and pharmacy staff to effectively promote and educate on the use of our products through one-on-one meetings, presentations, professional education programs and other appropriate means

    • Strategically identifying and building relationships with appropriate new targets

    • Effectively utilizing your selling skills and product knowledge to persuade targeted HCPs to prescribe promoted products

    • Effectively optimizing routing, sales tools, and resources to achieve sales results.

    • Demonstrating a “business owner” mindset for your territory

    • Always thinking, “There has to be another way to get even better results” then using your problem-solving skills to develop & implement new strategies and/or tactics

    • Being a team player who can work both independently, as well as collaboratively with internal & external partners• Understanding and effectively communicating complex information

    Responsibilities

    This opportunity is with our Primary Care & Dermatology Specialty Team, which partners with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that deliver. In this role, you'll promote and co-promote products in our portfolio that are wholly owned and co-promoted with long-term clients and our most robust relationships.

    The selected professional will be an integral part of a nationwide sales team developing and managing an assigned territory within a stated geographic footprint.

    You will:

    • Proactively demonstrate and promote client’s products to targeted and non-targeted physicians and healthcare professionals in territory and develop an appropriate territory business plan to influence their prescribing decisions for the appropriate patient

    • Develop and maintain relationships with influential customers in the territory to enhance company and/or product loyalty and build the client’s brands

    • Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities

    • Utilize defined selling model by obtaining maximum commitment from customers on every call to impact positive territory engagement results

    • Develop programs to enhance customer engagement and assist in business plans and goals. Seek and analyze information on competition, market and industry trends and discern how this could impact the business and adapt to changing conditions

    • Leverage understanding of clinical studies and managed care to consult, influence and maintain customer relationships. Customize discussions with physicians based on their needs

    • Actively participate in continuous learning and development programs, such as technical updates and professional skills enhancement.

    Job Requirements

    A bachelor’s degree

    Coachability

    Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Excel

    A track record of sales success

    Ability to travel and possess a valid driver’s license to drive to assigned accounts
