    Responsible for communicating information related to the medical practice to various public groups including patients, referring physicians, and the general public through multiple media, including print (brochures, advertisements, newsletters, press releases, etc.) and electronic (television, radio, Internet). Tracks referral relationships, acting as a monitor of referring physicians and group practice.

    • Maintains all digital initiatives including but not limited to: Search Engine Optimization, Luma Click Analytics, Google Reviews, Facebook, Twitter or Other Media Sites
    • Maintains company’s website according to organizational objectives including writing updates and uploading current information
    • Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the Director of Business Development
    • Monitor the company’s social media accounts and offer constructive interaction with users in collaboration with the Director of Business Development and the practice locations
    • Analyze the long-term needs of the company’s social media strategy and offer quarterly reports on any recommendations to the Director of Business Development
    • Coordinates placement of publication ads, media announcements and marketing materials
    • Assists in writing, designing, and coordinating internal and external marketing placement and publication of ads, media announcements, marketing materials, and publications.
    • Knowledge of marketing concepts including marketing strategies, market research, marketing communications, selling, public relations.
    • Knowledge of publication concepts including graphic design, layout, printing specifications, desktop publishing and Web design.
    • Knowledge of social media, how it works, and the benefits of social media for a medical practice.
    • Skill in development of marketing strategies and marketing analysis.

    ·         Tracks referral results, trends and communicates opportunities to recover or grow referrals with Director of Business Development

    ·         Develops positive relations with identified physicians and practices in the Houston area.

    ·         Other duties as assigned

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Skill in designing and developing publications in their entirety, from concept through completion.
    • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
    • Writes and speaks effectively based on the psychological, relational, situation, environmental and cultural dynamics within the situation
    • Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
    • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships. Ability to organize and analyze data.
    • Ability to utilize basic medical terminology. Ability to handle multiple priorities at one time. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
    • Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public.
    • Ability to develop creative, attractive designs using desktop and Web publishing and other graphics equipment.
    • Ability to work effectively with printers and other vendors to produce materials on time, to specifications, and within a budget.

    Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation; Moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic), Typical schedule is Monday through Friday with regular working hours. Travel in the Houston area will be required.
