Job Title: Administrative Support Technician (STINFO-S&P)
Division: (MARS) V - Edwards, AFB, California
Clearance: Requires Secret Security Clearance

Summary:
Provide specialized STINFO S&P support to the government. The S&P process ensures that information is released in a timely manner, without divulging classified, proprietary, or sensitive technical or operational information about critical military technology and conforms to DoD policies. Work with various stakeholders in the development of strategic communications to promote and educate internal and external stakeholders on site/system capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform Security & Policy review from cradle‐to‐grave, from receiving document to DTIC and government dissemination.
- Review, edit, and proofread package information and verify and validate supporting and supplementary documentation.
- Coordinate workflows to ensure documents are complete and approved within identified timelines.
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness and provide comments to the initiator/requestor not later than two (2) business days from initial receipt and work with the initiator/requestor to resolve comments.
- Initial point of contact for all conference requests initiated by RQ‐West.
- Ensure all required conference documentation submitted is technically accurate, grammatically correct, complete, reasonable, and adheres to established standards.
- Maintain and update existing management spreadsheets/databases specific to the office providing current technical information as changes occur, performing real‐time updates of spreadsheets covering the status of Technical Papers.
- Notify submitter, document PA tracking number (for public release), and upload cleared documents to WUMA within five (5) business days of receipt of clearance.
Experience and Education:
- Three (3) years of editing experience.
- Excellent editing skills in valuating and editing the content, structure, and format of a range of technical written material.
- Comprehensive computer skills in formatting/generating reports along with intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite and various software programs.
- High School Diploma or GED (associate degree preferred) or candidate(s) who demonstrate the ability to perform tasks, usually consisting of work experience listed within this sub-section.
