ABOUT THE JOB

The Delivery Driver is responsible for safe transport and delivery of products. Driver is responsible for loading their vehicle and physically moving the product into the customer’s house or delivery site. Depending on the product the driver may be required to perform basic connection. While not on deliveries the driver will perform routine warehouse work including but not limited to moving product, cleaning, and other tasks as needed. The driver operates a 16’-26’ box truck, either with or without lift gate or ramp.

The Delivery Driver will regularly be lifting products that weigh over 100 lbs. with and sometimes without assistance. The job requires a lot of lifting and use of hand trucks, pallet jacks and four wheel dollies. Proper lifting techniques, patience and the highest regard for both personal and job site safety are top priority. 

 Delivery Drivers work in a team environment so being a team player is a must. The driver is expected to work in all weather conditions and in a wide range of environments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Organize and load vehicle with all products set for delivery
• Drive a company provided truck safely and conduct safety checks as needed
• Transport products to the job site safely, unload and make inside delivery of new appliances
• When required, remove existing appliances without damaging customers property and haul away
• When required, connect basic appliances for example refrigerators, washers, and dryers
• Perform work in a warehouse setting including moving products, organizing and locating items
• Effectively communicate with customers and respond to problems as they arise
• Provide great customer service
• Communicate with supervisors throughout day, providing progress reports and any information requested

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift 100lbs.
• Valid Driver License
• Pass periodic drug screens, and background checks
• Obtain and maintain a DOT Card
• Experience driving/operating 16-26' box truck

Preferred

• 3 plus years warehouse and delivery experience
• 3 plus years appliance delivery and installation experience 
• Experience in furniture assembly/delivery or plumbing delivery is also a plus
