    Job Description

    MARKETING COORDINATOR

    LOCATION: LENEXA, KS

    PAY: $40K - $60K

    CONTRACT TO HIRE

    US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD ONLY

    This position is responsible for maintaining marketing and communications programs coordinated with, and developed by, the VP of Business Development, other internal Company associates, and outside marketing and communications vendors. The position also entails tracking and monitoring key metrics for all strategies and implementations.

    ACCOUNTABILITY, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

    • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.

    • Develop proposal presentations to facilitate partnerships with Company clients and

      business contacts.

    • Promote Company charity platforms internally and externally.

    • Plan and implement Press Announcements.

    • Consult with product development teams regarding product packaging and promotion.

    • Manage the productivity of marketing plans and projects, monitor, review, and report on

      all activities and results.

    • Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows, working with the

      sales teams to market products and services.

    • Assist with budgeting and manage project financials.

    • Collaborate with and support the sales teams.

    • Monitor best industry practices with both traditional and emerging marketing channels.

    • Work with legal organizations regarding existing or future trademark applications and

      resolve issues such as copyright or trademark infringement.

    • Other activities as management directs.

      QUALIFICATION / SKILLS:

    • Develop and manage marketing programs.

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to multitask, working with

      various stakeholders required.

    • Customer and market research.

    • Graphic and web design software and languages.

    • Working knowledge of social media outlets and mechanics of social media

      communications.

    • Working knowledge of email software.

    • Ability to travel up to 50%.

    • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) experience required.

    • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.

    • Must have a valid driver’s license.

    • Ability to be covered under company vehicle insurance.

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration, Business Administration, Marketing or Communication preferred but not required.
