    Responsibilities

    Help track inventory and daily ordering needs

    Possess a positive attitude, ability to multitask, work organized and cleanly

    Be an exemplary line cook that others strive to be like

    Ability to manage personal emotions in high stress moments or communicate when space is needed

    Have a willingness to take initiative and make decisions with established guidelines from the Chef

    Have a passion for high quality results and exceptional customer service

    Possess a well developed palette and be familiar with multiple cooking techniques

    Push themselves and others to continuously improve skill set and strive for excellence

    Ensure cooking techniques, portioning and recipes are properly followed to maximize quality and yield. Especially when delegating to other staff.

    Support staff in maintaining kitchen standards, recipe standards and general kitchen growth.

    Help to create and maintain a culture of safety, learning and open communication.

    Qualifications

    Professional who strives to exceed guest expectations

    Ability to work a range of shifts both during the day and evening shifts

    Proven experience in training and developing the kitchen team, not limited to but including: building camaraderie, teaching, training, moral boosting, pushing others to the next level.

    Responsible for proactively assisting in managing day-to-day kitchen operations with high quality food product

    Must be comfortable with food and labor costing, menu development, and training

    The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of prior lead experience at a highly regarded/rated and fast paced restaurant kitchen
