Job Summary: We are looking for an Engineering Technician that will be part of the continuous improvement of AMACO. As an Engineering Technician at AMACO, you will be part of a team that is focused on completing various projects to enhance the process and culture at AMACO.
There is some opportunity to work from home.
Responsibilities:
Conduct time studies using a standard template and present results to supervision Improve the organization of existing and new time studies for multiple
departments Work on improving and updating existing plant layouts
*Secondary Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Record data to help identify trends with inventory and scrap
Develop and maintain documentation per company standards
BOM adjustments
Process improvement tasks and projects
Additional tasks and projects, as needed
Required Skills/Qualifications/Expectations:
Ability to understand and complete time studies
Capable of working well individually, managing workload, with minimal supervision Capable of working well in team environment, sharing fair share of responsibility with others
Completion of Training in the Basics of Continuous Improvement
Basic knowledge of Work Instructions
Microsoft Office (Specifically Excel)
Strong organizational Skills
Able to analyze, categorize, manage, and present large amounts of data
Focus – Must be able to single out tasks and avoid distractions
Effective communication – Able to speak and write well, with ability to effectively convey and
explain technical information to others who may have lesser technical knowledge
Regular and predictable attendance
Work Environment:
This job may require you to stand for an extended period of time and some lifting may be required.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED
SALARY INFO:
$18 - $20 / HR
