    Job Description

    Your mission in sales at AMAX is to enable the world's software and hardware companies to deliver their IT products to market faster and with greater assurance! Amax offers a turnkey, industrial computing manufacturing and logistics service, with speed, quality, and transparency, which enables software and hardware product companies to outsource production of their IT solutions.

    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    · Research, analyze and understand the clients’ problems and pain points

    · Presenting to executives on the value and power of our platform and services

    · Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers, as necessary

    · Contribute and maintain a thorough understanding of the processes, technology, products and services offered

    · Prepare and respond to formal proposals, bids, credit terms, quotations

    · Coordinate, collaborate and strategize across marketing, technical and sales engineering, and supply chain teams

    · Prospecting, managing opportunities and growing new accounts

    · Manage sales cycles from lead qualification to opportunity conversion

    · Develop and execute effective account and sales plans

    · Create and maintain pipeline and account reports

    · Work with management on contract negotiations

    · Enter contact data, log calls and other sales information for prospects and customers into the SO and contact management system

    · Provide feedback (customer/prospect needs, industry trends, market perceptions, competitive intelligence, etc.) to marketing management teams

    · Keep up with product, market and industry knowledge

    ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Researching new verticals or potential customers

    • Prospecting, cold calls, conducting face to face and web meetings

    • Presenting AMAX Solutions and Services to targeted accounts

    • Work with engineering and marketing teams to create proposals for solutions based on customer needs

    • Be responsible for managing the entire sales process from prospecting to close

    • Establish, maintain and grow the client relationship through active account management

    • Strong passion and self-discipline for continuously reaching and surpassing goals

    • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation); at ease thinking on your feet

    • Upbeat, energetic, self-motivated and presentable; a consummate professional

    • Experience selling IT/High Performance computing solutions to corporate customers

    • At minimum, a basic understanding of computer/IT products and concepts, and ability to grasp concepts and details quickly

    • BA/BS in Engineering/Business/Communication a plus
