    About the Inside Sales Representative position

    INSIDE SALES IS THE ENGINE ROOM OF AMC. 

    It all starts here. Making calls to find qualified prospects is the most important job in the company. Adding new profitable managed services clients is the top priority of our thriving business. Marketing, advertising, and referrals are all important, but inside sales is the foundation that a predictable sales engine is built on. Most importantly, you are the first step in impacting a client's business results. The Inside Sales Representative reports directly to the Head of Sales. In this role you will be responsible for identifying and reaching decision makers to show them why meeting with us will give them a better perspective on their technology costs and results. Additionally, you will be responsible for initiating and scheduling first-time appointments and managing the Prospective Client Database. The goal is to have a clear understanding of our message, create an environment where it is appropriate to deliver our message, and generate a defined quality and quantity of appointments.

    INSIDE SALES COMBINES LEAD GENERATION WITH LEAD AND PROSPECT MANAGEMENT. 

    This role has the wonderful opportunity of talking to business leaders every day, and as such, is the client facing role responsible for growing our purpose as a company: to improve the lives of those we serve with our unique approach to managing IT (Information Technology), by educating clients on the actual cost of IT, and how their organization and employees can benefit from “BUSINESS BUILDING TECHNOLOGY.” All of this is done within the framework of our inside sales methodology. A QUALIFIED CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS 

    • Personal alignment to AMC core values and accept accountability of their well-defined responsibilities and ownership of weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.

    RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE INCLUDE:

    • Master and adhere to proven Inside Sales Processes and strategies
    • Execute the necessary daily activities as set forth by management, including phone calls and emails at a high quality to meet your weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals
    • Make the appropriate number of dials per day (100) and have the right number of good conversations to goals every week
    • Identify decision makers and control the direction of the calls to deliver our message, resulting in 3-5 first-time appointments per week
    • Track all activity thoroughly in AMC's Prospective Client Database to support Head of Sales, validate activity and lead qualification reports, and provide Head of Sales with solid background on opportunities to ensure high-quality prospect transition into the sales process
    • Ability to own and manage the AMC Inside Sales Process from suspects to first-time appointments 
    • Sales strategy development and database management
