Client Summary - Headquarters Air Mobility Command Surgeon General (AMC/SG) at Scott Air Force Base oversees global mobility and en route medical care for the U.S. Air Force, supporting secure medical IT systems and electronic health records. The Medical IT Network & Desktop Support Services project provides full-spectrum IT support, including program governance, cybersecurity, asset management, system engineering, and service desk operations. Additional responsibilities cover telecommunications, mobile device management, modernization initiatives, and patient safety analytics, with all positions contingent upon award and requiring U.S. citizenship and current DoD clearance eligibility.
Summary Deliver engineering and lifecycle support for medical IT systems and applications; plan/design/implement solutions; troubleshoot complex issues; support EHR training.
Responsibilities
Engineer upgrades; manage software lifecycles & release documentation
Integrate with AF/DHA infrastructure; ensure reliability & performance
Provide user training and technical currency sessions
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience
5+ years in systems/software engineering; strong troubleshooting skills
