Technical Sales Representative

In business since 2006, AMD Supply, a leading supplier of fencing, hurricane shutters, and aluminum products, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative for its Port Saint Lucie location.

The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for finding new customers, developing new sales and maintaining constant contact with exisitng customers. The Technical Sales Representative has the responsibility to provide solutions to each customer that best fits their needs.

Here's what you'll do!

• Meet with new and existing customers to identify sales opportunities
• Develop strong working relationships with all customers to help them with their material requirements.
• Work closely with our Customer Service Representatives to maintain regular contact with each customer.
• Maintain a record of customer contact with notes in our CRM system for each customer visit and call.
• Identify opportunities for growth with new products.
• Manage all customers within a specific geographical territory.

Qualifications/Skills/Abilities

• A degree from an accredited college or univeristy or a combination of education and work experience. Reletive work experience should be at minimum 3 - 5 years.

• Knowledge of fence, shutter or aluminum products is a plus.

• Experience with the consultative selling approach.

• Must be people friendly!

• Must have the ability to actively listen and interact with all stakeholders in a positive and professional manner.

• Must be self motivated and result oriented.

• Must have experience with technologies such as business computer software, ERP systems, and must have ability to learn and embrace new technologies.

• Must be proficent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

• Must have the ability to organize and plan.
