    Position Overview:

    We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled MEP Lead Plumbing Project Manager to join our vibrant team at 120 Degreez. In this role, you will take on a pivotal position in overseeing and managing the plumbing engineering aspects of projects in the MEP field. Your responsibilities will span designing, coordinating, and ensuring the successful implementation of plumbing systems.     Responsibilities:

    Leadership: Lead the plumbing engineering team, providing guidance and direction throughout the project lifecycle.

    Project Planning: Develop and review project plans, specifications, and design documents for plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations, including proficiency in CA codes.

    Coordination: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to integrate plumbing systems into the overall project design.

    Design Expertise: Design and analyze plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.

    Analysis and Simulation: Perform calculations and simulations to evaluate plumbing system performance, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

    Site Visits: Conduct site visits to assess existing plumbing systems, identify issues, and propose effective solutions.

    Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project requirements, goals, and budgets specific to plumbing systems.

    Documentation: Prepare technical reports, specifications, and drawings for plumbing construction documentation.

    Construction Support: Provide support during the construction phase, responding to requests for information (RFIs) and conducting site inspections related to plumbing systems.

    Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in plumbing engineering and MEP systems.

    Mentorship: Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing within the plumbing engineering team.

    Other duties as determined by management.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

    Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.

    5+ years of extensive experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in the design and coordination of MEP systems.

    Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, as well as proficiency in CA building codes

    Proficiency in using industry software and tools for design and analysis (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HVAC load calculation software).

    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    Project management experience is a plus.
