Summary of this role: The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys customer service (and interacting with customers local to our community) and is highly organized. In this position, you'll play a critical role in the successful construction of our fences by communicating directly via phone with residential customers through the estimation, contract signing, building and receiving payment phases. Responsibilities:

• Answer inbound customer calls to our office. We pride ourselves in answering the phone on the first ring and making sure that they are satisfied by the end of the phone call. And if you aren't the right person to answer the call or work with a customer, you'll route the customer to the right person
• Scheduling estimates for customers through various communications channels. At AMM we believe in making it easy for customers to reach us via text, phone, chat, Angi, Yelp, Google, etc. As the first person ever at AMM that many customers will interact with, you'll work with each of these platforms to book customers on the schedules of our Project Managers so that they can meet customers in person
• Printing and assembling our presentation folders which we give to customers at the time of estimate. Our presentation folders are one of the ways that we set ourselves apart from the competition and contain material such as Why Customers Should Choose AMM Fencing
• Submitting 811 tickets online to the 811 Dig website. In order to safely build fences, we need to know where underground lines are (e.g. electrical, gas, water, cable) so you'll be taking information on our projects and submitting them online
• Stocking our office from Costco Business Delivery and Amazon.com. AMM Fencing provides food and drinks to all employees daily, on a weekly basis you'll place orders online and ensure that we are well stocked and always introduce fun foods to keep our employees super happy!
• Organize our company monthly party. Every month we have a food gathering as a team, you'll work to order food, set up the party and ensure everyone has a great time!

Qualifications:

• Excellent oral communication abilities over the phone, both clear, patient, and someone people enjoy talking with!
• Prioritization and multitasking skills needed to effectively manage a range of responsibilities. Highly coachable and eager to learn and cultivate a skill set that includes customer relations, working with various software technologies, and learning fencing construction fundamentals
• Team player who has a customer service orientation and an upbeat "can do" attitude
• Passionate about building things, including fencing construction
• Able to use technology after training such as Google Docs and spreadsheets on Mac
• Flexible to various education levels and experience levels. High school graduates, college graduates, and those with varying work experience are all welcomed!
• Knowledge of the Tri-Valley and surrounding areas desired
