    Job Description

    The BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE – MANAGED SERVICES PROGRAMS LEADERSHIP SOLUTIONS is accountable for supporting the growth and business management of Interim Leadership services provided within AMN’s Managed Services Programs (MSP) solution and related workforce management and technology solutions. As part of AMN Healthcare’s Physician & Leadership Solutions (PLS) Division, the individual provides subject matter expertise to AMN sales and account management professionals as they seek to include Interim Leadership services within an Managed Services Programs client relationship. Specific support will include coaching on sales process, client messaging and value proposition, forecasting and pipeline management, pricing, contract development/negotiation and transition to program implementation. Further, this individual will assist Divisional leadership to lead planning, execution of growth strategies and monitoring of business results (revenues, searches, placements, etc.) within the business channel. Lastly, the individual may also assume responsibility for external business development and relationship management with third-party Managed Services Programs suppliers seeking vendor partnerships for Interim Leadership services.

     

    JOB TASKS:

    • Serve as an internal subject matter expert for the Physician & Leadership Solutions Division as it pertains to all sales activity, sales process and program implementation of Interim Leadership services within an AMN client relationship.
    • Support internal stakeholders within AMN Managed Services Programs channels (e.g. – sales, account management, leadership) as it pertains to opportunity identification, communication of value proposition, completion of key selling milestones, contracting and transition to implementation.
    • Provide subject matter expertise as it pertains to contract development and negotiation of business terms for Interim Leadership services to be included/added into an Managed Services Programs client relationship.
    • Monitor and regularly communicate pipeline and forecast information for channel sales activity.
    • Achieve annual and quarterly sales bookings targets for services through AMN Managed Services Programs channels.
    • Lead monthly business reviews with Divisional Leadership as it pertains to channel growth strategies and overall business performance indicators.
    • Lead business development and relationship with management with third-party Managed Services Programs suppliers utilizing AMN as a supplier for Interim Leadership services.
    • Continually expand individual knowledge of Interim Leadership and Managed Services Programs/managed services market trends, industry analyst updates, and competitive data by reviewing internal and external sources.
    • Communicate sales activities and opportunities through the pipeline call process in order to keep all stakeholders informed of upcoming implementations (i.e. shared services, corporate, sales partners).

      

    MINIMUM EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelors degree

     

    PREFERRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

    • Masters of Business Administration (MBA)

     

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

    • 5+ years in sales, business development or channel management for executive recruitment, interim leadership, healthcare staffing or workforce management solution suppliers.

    • Specialized experience in Interim Leadership services or Managed Service Programs (MSP) solutions highly desirable.
