    Job Description

    ANALYGENCE IS SEEKING A Document Destruction Technician (DDT)to collect classified and unclassified materials from specified locations within the Main Treasury building and the Treasury Annex building. This position requires Lifting heavy bags, push rolling carts and pulling two- and four-wheeled containers.  The DDT will operate the disintegrator/shredding equipment in accordance with the equipment manufacturer’s standard operating procedures (SOP) and attendant safety procedures. Training will be provided. Additional duties are as follows: 

    • Destroy unclassified recyclable materials while disposing of non-recyclable materials (i.e., notebooks, binders, binder clips, plastic bindings, etc.) in accordance with the Government installations regulations.
    • Destroy classified materials as required in accordance with Department of the Treasury policy.
    • Clean and remove any residual materials after document destruction before leaving the Waste Destruction Facility (WDF) at the end of the business day.
    • Be familiar with the requirements for handling, destroying, and preventing disclosure of classified information up to and including TS/SCI.

    This position is part-time, Tuesday and Wednesday only. Occasional Thursday coverage may be required.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE WITH SCI REQUIRED TO START.
    • High School diploma
    • Experience with disintegrator/ shredder
    • Experience handliing unclassified and classified materials for destruction.
