    Job Description

    WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED TEAM MEMBER, WORKING DHS CASE TYPES, TO SUPPORT OUR ESTABLISHED RECORDS UNIT. CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE ACTIVE CREDENTIALS SUPPORTING DHS CUSTOMERS (CBP,ICE,ETC)

    The Investigative Analyst is responsible for duties associated with conducting background investigations in support of Federal and Commercial clients within ANASEC's Records Unit. This position involves researching and conducting records checks on subject's of Investigation to include: criminal history, credit, employment and education. Analysts work to ensure all case documents are received and processed in a manner consistent with established standards, criteria and parameters. Work is routine and repetitive and follows various standardized operating procedures.

    Position will be considered for full time telework based on experience and location. 

    Full time, Part-Time, IC positions available.

    CANDIDATES MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET (TS) SECURITY CLEARANCE OR SSBI/T5 LEVEL INVESTIGATION AND ACTIVE CREDENTIALS

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    •Responsible for conducting record checks and reviews by thoroughly checking for complete and accurate case document necessary to process the investigation •Create and maintain electronic and hardcopy case files for utilization to perform investigative tasks •Document incoming case papers received via FedEx, USPS mail, and fax in databases •Scan and file incoming documents pertaining to the investigation •Prepare outgoing FedEx shipments •Maintain files for File Room for case accountability and case retention per contract requirements •Prepare packages of completed reports for shipment to client

    REQUIREMENTS: •High school diploma or GED •Minimum six months to one year experience in administrative or related field preferred •Detail oriented •Excellent customer service skills •Must be able to type and perform data entry accurately •Must maintain high level of confidentiality •Must be dependable and highly responsible •Strong written and verbal communication skills •Must be well-organized and possess the ability to multi-task •Microsoft office proficiency in Word, Outlook and Excel •Ability to work well in a team atmosphere •Ability to work independently with minimal supervision •Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment •U.S. citizenship (required for federal security clearance) •Candidates selected for this position must pass a mandatory post-offer drug test
