Job description
Our prestigious treatment center, specializing in medical opiate detox within a full-service hospital setting, is currently seeking a part-time with the possibility of full time, to join our team. As a CNA, your mission will be to provide essential administrative and patient support. The assigned shifts will primarily cover afternoons and evenings.
Responsibilities:
Deliver various therapeutic services in all of the recovery programs at Domus Retreat and AAMOD Medical Center.
Assist the medical director during patient consultations and medical treatments.
Attend to patients' requests and provide necessary assistance.
Offer support and address questions to alleviate patient anxiety.
Communicate patient status and any issues to the management office and medical director.
Coordinate admissions and ensure a smooth process for patients.
Keep family members informed with regular updates post-procedure.
Coordinate discharge plans and transportation arrangements with Domus Retreat and the management office.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare field.
Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
Certification in medical assisting, CNA, or a related field is desirable.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in administrative tasks.
Flexibility in scheduling and adapting to changing admissions.
Possess a positive attitude and a high level of patience when dealing with patients.
Knowledge and experience in adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Reliability and excellent interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License.
Clean driving record (must provide DMV printout upon hire).
EMT or CNA license in good standing.
CAADAC or CAADE certification (within 60 days of hire).
CPR and First Aid Certification.
Associate Degree or higher.
Note: This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and is not suitable for entry-level candidates.
