Must want to protect and care for animals Must be 21yrs+, reliable, punctual, clean driver’s license and background, own transportation, live within 20 minutes of the non-profit Warwick animal shelter, able to lift 50lbs, work well with coworkers, follow instructions, assist the public. Animal Care Attendant training (feed, medicate, clean & socialize) prior to Animal Control appointment that will include 2-3 on call nights for emergency situations, rescue stray & injured animals, handle complaints, conduct enumeration, issue summonses and assist in investigating local animal cruelty cases. On site interview and resume required. Start pay $16.50/hr., $17/hr. upon assuming full ACO duties.
