    We are looking for a talented Supply Chain Planner for our Pico Rivera office.

    FULL-TIME | Monday – Friday + Occasional Overtime Required

    We are hiring a skilled individual with some experience in supply chain planning or logistics. Experience in the lubricant or chemical industries is a huge plus but not necessary.

    This is a good job for someone who is strongly analytical, has work experience with supply chains, and is looking for a great opportunity to grow with an expanding company.

    POSITION DETAIL

    The Supply Chain Planner is a key part of the logistics team. Your job is to anticipate and maintain stock levels to ensure that operations run smoothly. You count and track inventory across multiple locations; anticipate stock demands based on current and future needs; and analyze and anticipate market trends for the best time to purchase inventory.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Review base oil and additive inventory
    • Place purchase orders with vendors
    • Place inter-plant transfer orders
    • Paperwork management
    • Railcar tracking/management
    • Create inventory reports
    • Present suggestions/recommendations to improve supply chain and/or reduce costs
    • Other tasks as assigned

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • 2 years relevant work experience required: Lubricant/chemical industry experience preferred
    • Degree in Business Management, Logistics, or related field preferred
    • Knowledge of in inventory management: Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Excellent analytical and math skills
    • Good written and verbal skills
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Attention to detail
    • Teamwork and communication skills
    • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
    • Must be at least 18 years old
    • Must pass pre-employment drug screening
    • Must pass pre-employment background check (TWIC credentialing standards apply)
