POSITION SUMMARY:
AOG / Line Lead Mechanic performs and leads AOG and light Line maintenance to return aircraft to service quickly, safely, and in full regulatory compliance, serving as the on-site technical authority during unscheduled maintenance events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and perform troubleshooting, repair, and return-to-service actions during AOG events
Perform and support scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance as required
Supervise team of 1-3 mechanics or technicians
Serve as on-site technical authority and direct maintenance activities
Troubleshoot and rectify airframe, powerplant, and aircraft system discrepancies
Coordinate parts, tooling, and third-party support to minimize downtime
Ensure all work and documentation comply with FAA regulations and company procedures

Location in Fort Lauderdale International Airport (KFLL)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
FAA A&P Mechanic Certificate required, IA a plus
Aircraft maintenance 5+ years of experience
AOG / Line maintenance 3+ years of experience
Lead Mechanic or supervisor 1+ year experience
Engine run and Taxi experience
Preferable experience and initial training for Hawker 750/800XP/850XP, Embraer Legacy 600/650, Bombardier Challenger 600/850, CRJ 100/200, Global Xpress, XRS
Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, troubleshooting and repair methods
Avionics knowledge and experience
FAA Part 135 or Part 145 background
Strong knowledge of FAA regulation and company GOM, GMM, RSM
Software CAMP, VERYON, TRAX, Smart 145, AvPro or equivalents
Willing to travel within Florida, national + international travel occasionally
AOG experience outside of main base
Experience in communicating with OEM Support Service
