    AOTMP is currently seeking an experienced IT professional with a proven track record of leadership to join our fast-growing, entrepreneurial organization. Our ideal candidate is experienced and highly qualified in building high performing IT teams while cultivating a culture of accountability and transparency.

    The Vice President of Technology and Information will strategize, plan, manage, and direct operational activities related to mission-critical IT systems. This candidate will work closely with leaders in other departments to identify, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions. This person is an executive-level employee with the ability to dig into the details to make our vision a reality.

    In this role, the Vice President of Technology and Information will focus on four main areas, including Application Development, Operations, Data Management, and Analytics while also focusing on Business Transformation to ensure systems and data meet or exceed the needs of our internal and external customers. To be successful, the Vice President of Technology and Information will need to work closely with business unit leaders, acting as a true partner and making IT a business enabler.

    The ideal candidate will have proven skills in information management systems, IT security, software development, data management, analytics, as well as project and risk management. The selected individual will also have excellent cross-functional and communication skills to collaborate with other staff and stakeholders and demonstrate professional relationships and ongoing learning to maintain a current understanding of best practices, emerging issues, and future trends in technology.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    Executive Management Duties

    • Perform management responsibilities to include but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
    • Proactively consult/advise with executive leaders on the emerging technologies and digital trends that are most relevant to the company's core needs and future goals, as well as advise on technologies utilized by other organizations.
    • Leadership of teams responsible for support and administration of Data Management and Analytics. In particular, this includes working with other leaders within our Analytics Team.
    • Participates in strategic decision-making on aspects of the company business, providing leadership with respect to information systems, IT security, and technology focused on advancing AOTMP's ability to meet its goals, mission, and vision.
    • Represents AOTMP at external meetings and serves as a lead spokesperson on the four identified areas of focus: Development, Operations, Data Management and Analytics with an overall focus on Business Transformation.
    • Leads or assists in the development and review of capability adoption tactics for internal and client-facing adoption. Develops and delivers insightful presentations and strategies to the business unit and executive committee where appropriate.

    Development:

    • Ability to interpret the executive's vision for technology and turn it into a reality.
    • Review existing systems, develop a blueprint and design/recommend/implement improvements to create a scalable architecture that fits the company's operations.
    • Set up organizationally accessible testing and development environments as well as standard operating procedures and support for such environment.
    • Leads or assists in the development and review of capability adoption tactics for internal and client-facing adoption. Develops and delivers insightful presentations and strategies to the business unit and executive committee where appropriate.
    •  Other duties as assigned or requested.

    Operations:

    • Identifies, establishes, and maintains the required major systems, applications, processes, and staffing needed to provide the information, security, and technology systems to support AOTMP operations.
    • Oversees the selection, operation, and maintenance of organizational hardware and software systems, including cloud-based services, desktop systems, and mobile systems.
    • Exercises budget control and project management to ensure the positive functional and financial performance of the assigned staff and services. Develops multi-year and annual business plans, including objectives, budgets, and operational practices.
    • Establishes and updates policies in information management, IT security, and IT infrastructure in collaboration with other executive management leaders and the President/CEO.

    Data Management and Analysis/Analytics:

    • Oversees data gathering, data analysis, and information reporting functions to assure the needed information is available, on a timely basis, with integrity insured and that it represents what it is purported to represent, as appropriate for AOTMP staff, AOTMP customers and others.
    • Oversees system standards, information access, and control, and security systems and procedures to assure access and availability for the intended users, as well as, encompassing procedures and preventing security breaches, testing/auditing of those procedures, identifying any breaches that take place, and rapid resolution.
    • Ability to create reports and analyze data based on request.

    Business Transformation:

    • Apply digital technologies to fundamentally impact all aspects of the business.
    • Transform the business by streamlining processes and making use of technologies to enhance their interaction with customers and employees, while delivering excellent customer experience.
    • Create a strategy to automate all aspects of the business both internally and with our customer interactions.
    • Develop a plan to create an improved customer experience by leveraging existing and new technologies.
    • Document areas of opportunity both internally and with our customer experience.

    Education:

    Required: Business Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Information Science, or Information System Management

    Preferred: Master's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology Management or Information System Management

    Experience Preferred:

    • 10 years of Data Management and Analytics
    • 7 years of Information Technology
    • 7 years Management
    • 5 years managing a Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications environment or equivalent.

    • Demonstrated professional relationships and ongoing learning to maintain a current understanding of best practices, emerging issues, and future trends in the directed areas.
