    AOTMP is an entrepreneurial company on a fast growth track and is looking for a career-oriented, highly motivated Accounting Specialist to work in our Indianapolis office as a member of our accounting team. The selected individual will be an individual contributor with plenty of opportunities for advancement as we continue our fast growth. The position will report to the Co-Founder / EVP of the company.

    The Accounting Specialist is responsible for all accounting related procedures and functions, including all financial records, payroll, banking and daily operations of the accounting department.  The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting of all corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal control policies and procedures.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Preparing operating and financial statements on a monthly basis
    • Reconciliation of sales, revenue, and accounting reports
    • Preparing the monthly company and department metrics reports
    • Management of all receivables from invoicing to collection
    • Management of all payables from procurement to payment
    • Prepares a cost of sales and cost of delivery reports
    • Prepares monthly project cost reports by the delivery department and by product
    • Prepares cash report weekly for review by CEO and EVP
    • Preparation and submission of payroll every other week
    • Process sales in real-time as they happen which includes electronic invoicing
    • Produce monthly commission reports by the 5th of each month
    • Work to determine how to automate all commission reporting
    • Preparation of all state tax credit reporting for training and capital expenditures
    • Preparation of general tax reports such as those for payroll, and personal property taxes
    • Corresponds with other departments to ensure proper accounting for revenue, purchases, and expenses
    • Responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures
    • Responsible for maintaining accurate records of earnings, profits, cash balance, and other financial results
    • Responsible for accurate recording of payroll and distribution of year-end W2's and 1099's
    • Ensures an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close
    • Ensure a clean and timely year-end review with our CPA firm and the distribution of K1's to investors
    • Maintain state registrations, business and tax licenses

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
    • 3+ years' experience in accounting
    • Have complete knowledge of all general accounting functions, regulations, policies, and procedures
    • Proven, proficient in Microsoft Office software with advanced Excel
    • Experience with QuickBooks preferred
    • Experience with Salesforce.com is helpful  
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with a sense of urgency
    • Highly organized, able to meet deadlines, and multi-task
    • Problem solving / analysis skills
    • Experience with global accounting and regulations a huge plus
