    AOTMP is seeking a Human Resource Generalist & Recruiter who gets excited about making a difference in the lives of others. Our ideal candidate understands the true impact of Human Resources on the overall organization. As a true Generalist, you will provide support in multiple HR areas with a primary emphasis on recruitment of assigned positions.

    This position manages the employee selection process for all positions by coordinating the requisition approval process; ensuring all positions are posted internally, implementing creative candidate sourcing strategies (e.g. attending job fairs, direct recruiting/networking, working with vocational schools, etc.) to develop external candidate pool; presenting hiring managers with qualified candidates; and by coaching/developing managers on selection process/interviewing skills. This position is also accountable for coordinating the offer approval process and for ensuring background checks are completed. Where applicable, effectively manages the third party recruiting partners.

    In addition to recruiting this position will support all functions of the human resource department including benefits, employee relations, maintaining HRIS, etc.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Full cycle recruitment and assist with the interview process
    • Post ads and pre-screen resumes
    • Scans industry job posting sights for potential candidates and continuously networks to keep current with the top talent in the marketplace
    • Completes offer letters and termination letters
    • Schedules and coordinates onboarding meetings with new hires
    • Schedules and conducts 30/90/180 follow up meetings with new employees
    • Conducts benefits enrollment for new employees; processes all changes; reconciles benefit statements with billing.
    • Assists with annual open enrollment.
    • Prepares and processes all new hire paperwork and termination paperwork.
    • Prepares new employee files & new hire packets with related paperwork.
    • Prepares all COBRA paperwork and ensures that the company stays compliant on all time frame deadlines
    • Enters new hire information into HRIS system
    • Coordinates employee background and reference checks including drug screens
    • Updates HR spreadsheet with employee change requests and processes paperwork
    • Assists with the preparation of the performance review forms
    • Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files and maintains all personnel records
    • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions including employment verification.
    • Keep employee records up-to-date
    • Responsible for administering employee benefit programs.
    • Provides timely and accurate information and responses to employees, HR, and management on benefit programs, as they relate to leave status.
    • Coordinates with business partners to ensure employees are on-boarded/off-boarded to plans as appropriate.
    • Assists VP, Human Resources- Corporate Strategy with various research projects and/or special projects.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5+ years of HR Generalist and Recruitment experience; experience with sourcing technical talent a plus.
    • Knowledge of employment-related and compliance legislation including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, ACA, and EEOC.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including grammar and spelling.
    • Demonstrated proficiency using MS Office Suite; intermediate to advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
    • Strong technical skills, experience, and familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • HR Certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) a plus.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Creative with a good sense of humor.
