    The Telecommunications Billing Analyst will work as an integral part of the Operations team and will be responsible to provide expert knowledge on delivering solutions for our clients.

    EDUCATION: 

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent career experience

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

    • 5+ years' experience in IT/Telecom with experience in expense management, project management, vendor management

    • 5+ years telecommunications billing, invoicing experience at USOC, CSR Level, analysis for accuracy

    • MUST have strong business analysis experience to develop client information and recommendations for clients

    • Client facing experience in telecommunications, consulting, business analysis

    • Experience working with very large, Fortune 500 global companies preferred

    • Experience in telecommunications consultant practice as a business analyst a plus

    • Global telecommunications experience preferred

    • Financial acumen

    • Advanced MS Office Suite and advanced MS Excel experience that includes filtering, vlookup; grouping and pivot tables

    • Understand and use of EDI feed information and client portals

    • Experience monitoring service providers (carriers)

    • Professional presence and demeanor in both communications and presentation skills

    • Experience in best practices for Telecom Environment Management a plus

    • Self-motivated, innovative person with analytical, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to work with limited direction and ability to understand and complete delegated tasks with superior customer-focused quality

    • Must have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly, in writing and/or orally, both in one-on-one and group presentation situations

    • Able to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and project management in both the business and the technical areas

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:           

    • Under minimal direction, facilitate technical, financial and business analysis and validation of billing, invoicing and telecom inventories accuracy
    • Identify opportunities for consolidated billing
    • Proficient with Service Guides, tariffs and vendor (carrier) portals
    • Knowledge of how to adjust, credit and analyze telecom billing data to establish a baseline.
    • Experience in managing contract reviews against. SLA's, adherence to terms against billing, manage disputes and work with clients.
    • Develop contract catalog and validations
    • Know how to use data to develop a business analysis for the client's benefit

    • Perform site surveys for voice, wireless and data services
    • Work independently as well as part of a large project team
    • Work effectively on multiple projects at the same time
    • Prepares statistical tracking of telecommunications service costs for operating unit trending analysis.
    • Work with internal personnel and vendors to gather information required for projects.
    • Reviews existing telecom services for opportunities to reduce costs through the removal of excess or inappropriate services.
    • Identifying opportunities for contract negotiations and identifying errors or omissions in billing.
    • Recommends process improvements to enhance network performance trends
    • Researches and develops new processes to improve telecommunications services
    • RFP assistance
    • Monitors service providers (carriers) for new product offerings, including pricing schedules
    • Act as an SME for the AOTMP Tools & Research portal
    • Assist in training class curriculum development as an SME
    • Communicates technical ideas in non-technical language to business stakeholders
