Overview:

We’re seeking an accounting professional to manage invoicing, accounts receivable, vendor payments, and sales tax filings. This person will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial records, timely payments, and seamless day-to-day accounting operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Customer Billing & Receivables
• Prepare and send invoices based on sales orders and deliveries
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on payments
• Work with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
• Vendor Payments
• Process vendor invoices and ensure alignment with purchase orders
• Handle payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers
• Maintain vendor records and address any payment issues
• Sales Tax Management
• Calculate and file sales tax returns in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Keep up with changing tax regulations across different locations
• Accounting Support
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and general ledger updates
• Help prepare financial reports and maintain accurate records

What You’ll Bring:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar (Associate’s degree with relevant experience also considered)
• 3+ years of experience in AR/AP or general accounting
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
• Knowledge of GAAP and multi-state sales tax compliance
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Ability to manage sensitive financial information responsibly
