    AP Supervisor - Commercial Real Estate - Temp-to-Perm

    A tier-1 commercial real estate firm is seeking an AP Supervisor to join their team. This is a contract role with a 12 month assignment, with the possibility of contract to hire. This role will be conducted 3 days a week in their beautiful Irvine office, and 2 days a week from home. This is a high priority hire and the hiring process will move quickly!

    Responsibilities

    • Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
    • Verify discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly statements.
    • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper approvals for invoices.
    • Record journal entries to the general ledger and prepare monthly account reconciliations.
    • Review employee expense reports and reconcile corporate credit card charges.
    • Review vendor setup forms for accuracy and completeness.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    • High school degree required. Bachelors preferred
    • 4+ years of high volume Accounts Payable experience in a corporate environment
    • Ability to consistently manage multiple tasks, work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of general financial accounting and ability to learn general ledger software.
    • Experience with large accounting software systems preferred
    • Accounts Payable experience in the Real Estate Industry preferred, not required
    • Yardi experience preferred, not required
