    Accounts Payable Specialist

    Location: Dallas, TX Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: On-site or Hybrid Salary: $55,000 – $70,000 per year

    We are a growing property management and real estate organization seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team.     Job Summary

    The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments. This role plays a critical part in supporting accounting operations and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

    Responsibilities

    Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner

    Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation

    Enter invoices into the accounting system and ensure accurate general ledger coding

    Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers

    Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

    Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries

    Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records

    Assist with month-end close processes as needed

    Support accounting team with additional administrative and accounting tasks

    Qualifications

    2+ years of accounts payable experience required

    Experience in property management, real estate, or related industry preferred

    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

    Strong communication and problem-solving skills

    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience with property management accounting software such as Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, or similar systems

    Experience processing high-volume invoices

    Understanding of general ledger and accounting principles
