APB Logistics Inc. is an Independent Service Provider for FedEx Ground that services the Western Gainesville and Tioga/Newberry areas. We are looking to hire FULL-TIME DELIVERY DRIVERS to operate large company owned delivery vehicles out of the FedEx Ocala, FL based terminal. We are looking for motivated and dependable individuals to work as part of a team!
PAY: $135 to $150 per day

Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday) is required

This is a physical job and requires that the delivery driver lift/maneuver heavy packages and get in and out of the truck many times each day.

Prior delivery driving experience required
No CDL required! Amazon, UPS, USPS experience is a PLUS! Experience driving a step-van is a plus!

Paid WEEKLY via direct deposit
Paid vacation after 1 year of service (full time)
Opportunity for paid personal day once per quarter with perfect attendance (full time)

Paid training - $120 per day
Day rate of $135 per day after 2-weeks training, with potential increase to $150 per day after 90 days
DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS & BENEFITS:
All applicants MUST meet ALL of the following criteria (NO EXCEPTIONS):
Must be able to pass a background check
Clean Motor Vehicle Record
Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by Employer!)
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
Physically able to lift 50 lb unassisted and handle packages up to 150 lbs with dolly, potentially up stairs
Physically able to get into and out of large delivery vehicle multiple times per day
Have dependable transportation
The ability to locate suburban addresses using GPS and/or maps is a must
Previous experience at FedEx, Amazon, UPS, FedEx, or DHL is a plus
DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Possess a good sense of direction and the ability to work quickly, productively, independently, respectfully, safely, and responsibly
Make designated stops and designated pick-ups
Verify paperwork via electronic device for deliveries and pick-ups
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Work safely to prevent injury to yourself, to others, and damage to products and property
