Job Summary

APB Logistics Inc. is an Independent Service Provider for FedEx Ground that services the Western Gainesville and Tioga/Newberry areas. We are looking to hire Full-time and Part-time delivery drivers to operate large company owned delivery vehicles out of the FedEx Ocala based terminal. We are looking for motivated and dependable individuals to work as part of a team! Come join this fantastic team of drivers and grow with our company and our industry!

Responsibilities

Make designated stops and designated pickups efficiently

Verify paperwork via electronic devices for deliveries and pickups

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted and maneuver up to 150lbs with a dolly

Work safely to prevent injury to yourself, to others, and damage to products and property

Perform regular safety inspections and comply with all company policies and driving laws

Qualifications

Weekend availability required, especially Saturdays

Previous experience with FedEx, UPS, USPS, Amazon, etc., is preferred

Must be 21 year of age or older

Valid commercial driver’s license - CDL not required

Ability to locate residential and commercial addresses using GPS and/or maps is a must

Understanding of all relevant truck driving laws and regulations

Clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and DOT Medical (Physical) Exam (paid for by employer)

Have dependable transportation
