Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and personable Pre-Sales & Business Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in identifying and developing new business opportunities for our custom software solutions.
An incumbent in this position will enjoy building relationships, listening deeply to client needs, and working closely with both sales and technical teams to craft thoughtful, customized solutions. You’ll be the bridge between prospective clients and our development team, helping translate business pain points into actionable software proposals, and perform other duties as assigned
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in selling software or cloud-based customer service solutions, such as involvement in pre- and post-implementation processes. Proven ability to assess and analyze customers’ IT needs to deliver tailored solutions.
- Active listening skills and attention to details.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comfortable providing written communication and documentation.
- Analyzing industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to support sales targeting and proposal strategies.
- Initiating contact with prospects to understand their challenges, requirements, and objectives, often through calls or meetings.
- Collaborating with sales and technical teams to tailor solutions and create customized proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations that address the client’s needs.
- Equipping the sales team with market insights, client information, and documentation to improve the likelihood of closing deals.
- Preparing and delivering product or service demonstrations, either technical or business-focused, to show how the proposed solution meets the client’s needs.
Experience Preferences:
- Understanding of APIs.
- Working autonomously
- Creating your own territory plan and generating your own leads
- Knowledge of software and IT systems and how they integrate.
Physical Requirements:
- Capable of lifting up to 20lbs.
- Long periods of sitting at a desk, physically able to visit multiple sites and view computer screens for long lengths of time.
- Must be able to commute to Celebration office as well as travel to leads in personal vehicle.
