    Founded in 1983 as a joint venture between Sony/ATV and Universal, APM Music is the recognized leader in the production music industry. Offering a comprehensive collection of original music, APM Music provides media producers and content creators with access to nearly 1 million high-caliber tracks specifically for use in film, television, radio, podcast, advertising, gaming, social and new media productions.

    THE ROLE

    The focus of the Library Supply Chain Coordinator is to increase the quality of APM product and metadata through more focused collaboration with suppliers, unify the objective/subjective APM touch point for libraries, and to work with data administration, legal, technology, and music department to optimize data and assets through the product life cycle.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Product Supplier Relations

    • Manages and maintains supplier relationships through all parts of the product life-cycle from onboarding, scheduling, delivery, processing, quality assurance and distribution
    • Maintains and updates supplier requirements documentation and FAQ, and creates new FAQ branches, as needed.
    • Files new supplier agreements and ensure APM is compliant in our exploitation of assets
    • Coordinates new library/supplier set up
    • Coordinates helpdesk for supplier Library Portal, report bugs and feature requests.
    • Receives and routes Library Inquiries (Registrations, Rights, Licensing, Royalties)
    • Inquires with suppliers for special rights permissions from Sales (mechanical, sample, etc.)
    • Coordinates assets for internal libraries and APM custom music department.
    • Coordinates feedback loop between supplier and APM Sales/Music.
    • Maintains supplier contact lists in Salesforce.

    Product Ingestion and Distribution

    • Ingestion: Responsible for monitoring the processes by which library submissions are pushed from the Library Portal to APM's rights database
    • Distribution: Uses internal tools to batch metadata data and assets and deliver to aggregators and third parties
    • Responsible for the accuracy of the tagging and search metadata entering APM's database
    • Admin and clerical work related to product supply chain (support Ops, Music, Mktg)
    • Support for asset requests and monitoring to ensure all assets are delivered to correct departments and systems
    • Supports metadata clean-up initiatives and communicate to libraries
    • Monitors the admin panel Metadata Error Reporting feedback for changes and library feedback
    • Delivers and supports tagging and data transformation for distribution of specific catalogs to worldwide sub publishers.

    General

    • Responsible for working cross departmentally to ensure the quality of APM music product.
    • Assists with documentation of processes, reports bugs and features, and reports to support updating of systems, development and automation.
    • Performs special projects/assignments as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Customer Service knowledge and experience
    • Writing and communication specifically technical writing and email formatting
    • Helpdesk experience
    • Email Marketing System experience
    • Music and Copyright experience
    • Database Administration with Counterpoint Tools (Music Source, Music Books)
    • Basic Salesforce
    • Basic JIRA and Confluence
    • YouTube Content ID and understanding of UGC platforms
    • Basic Excel Skills for large data sets (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Filters)
    • Outlook, Word
    • Good communication skills
    • Ability to follow instructions
    • Attention to detail and follow-through
