    Founded in 1983 as a joint venture between Sony/ATV and Universal, APM Music is the recognized leader in the production music industry. Offering a comprehensive collection of original music, the TV, Film and Trailers team at APM Music helps music supervisors, filmmakers, studios, distributors, production companies, editors and producers find/license/create music for their productions from our ever-expanding collection of 1M tracks.

    THE ROLE

    We are seeking an Sales Development Representative to join our team. The right candidate for this role will be engaged in the below activities:

    SALES DEVELOPMENT

    • Work with Account Executives to identify and proactively seek new business opportunities in the relevant markets
    • Utilize tools and systems, including Outlook, the CRM and Salesloft, to cold email and engage with prospects and leads
    • Organize and maintain current and relevant account and contact information in the CRM
    • Liaise between TV, Film and Trailers team and Marketing department on a number of recurring and one-off marketing projects, including but not limited to email campaigns, maintenance of APM credits, social media initiatives, landing pages and pitch decks
    • Run a variety of reports in the CRM and other internal databases
    • Stay up-to-date with industry / competitive landscape / new product features /services /pricing and all value propositions
    • Oversee inbound website registrations for the TV, Film and Trailers team, engaging with the new registrants to understand their needs and evaluating business opportunities
    • Enter music searches, lyric requests, re-record and stem requests into the CRM
    • Set up client meetings or calls between prospective clients and APM Account Executives
    • Take detailed notes on internal and external Zoom/video calls
    • Have a consultative approach to identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
    • Host live tutorials and onboarding of new clients/users
    • Provide clients with cue sheet information, credits, and hi-res audio
    • Quote clients based on internal rate card policies and procedures
    • Create and manage opportunities in Salesforce
    • Enter data to create music license agreements in CRM
    • Flag and collaborate with Legal & Business Affairs on license/quote language modifications and redlines
    • Maintain database of licensing procedures by account
    • Coordinate with Publishing Operations on track availability as necessary

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Knowledge of and passion for music and relevant industries (film and TV)
    • Ability to multi-task and keep the team and your tasks organized
