    Founded in 1983 as a joint venture between Sony/ATV and Universal, APM Music is the recognized leader in the production music industry with a catalog of over 900,000 tracks in every imaginable genre. Our music elevates any content and brings a story to life.

    THE ROLE

    We're seeking a passionate and experienced strategic Account Executive to join APM's enterprise Sales team. The role will be focused on executing B2B sales at each stage of the funnel, from prospecting, qualifying, quoting, closing, and providing ongoing support for accounts in our Corporate market segment. The ideal candidate is independent and driven, with a passion for business development and customer success, has demonstrated success selling to corporations, and has the desire to be part of an amazing team.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Identifying and securing new business opportunities in the corporate enterprise space
    • Develop deep corporate vertical expertise to be a trusted partner of that segment
    • Building and maintaining a pipeline through managing marketing qualified leads and targeted account outreach
    • Work with marketing to provide market level insights to align campaigns and events that will help to drive growth
    • Expert demonstrations of APM's website and value propositions
    • Drafting and negotiating music licensing agreements that align with clients' needs
    • Accurately maintain data of sales activity and client information within CRM (Salesforce.com)
    • Working closely with internal cross-functional teams including legal and finance
    • Ensuring customer satisfaction through ongoing support to develop long-term relationships
    • Meeting quarterly and annual revenue targets
    • Occasional traveling for trade shows and/or key client meetings

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • BA/BS or higher required
    • 4+ years B2B sales experience (selling into the corporate space a big plus)
    • Proven results in consistently exceeding sales targets
    • Proven ability to increase pipeline and close new business through self-directed prospecting
    • Positive attitude and are passionately engaged in the right sales activities
    • Process and solutions oriented
    • Accountable for results
    • Expert command of CRM software (Salesforce.com a plus)
    • Experience with sales enablement software (Salesloft)
    • Demonstrated success with prospecting and developing new business (using LinkedIn and other social media)
    • Genuine interest in music
