    ROLE: Account Coordinator – Advertising

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Outbound prospecting, research and contact potential clients through cold calls, emails, and social media touch points
    • Work with Account Directors to identify and proactively seek new business opportunities with current clients 
    • Identify sponsorships and relevant market events to increase client engagement
    • Collaborate with team on the development and execution of nurturing campaigns
    • Regular follow up with clients on project status and manage associated paperwork
    • Provide routine quotes based on internal rate card and established policies and procedures
    • Route client requests for music playlists and related assets
    • Become well-versed in APM's 900,000+ track catalog, curate custom playlists to proactively pitch prospective clients to align with their brands' music and production needs
    • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns to convert them into sales opportunities
    • Have a consultative approach to client's needs
    • Set up client meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Directors
    • Record all data and client activity in Salesforce in a timely manner
    • Stay current with industry trends and a competitive landscape via virtual trade publications, on alert for news and opportunities relating to accounts and potential prospects.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 2-3 years' experience in sales prospecting or account development role, preferably from an agency or major consumer brand
    • Able to prioritize and juggle well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
    • Passion for advertising and its closely-networked community
    • Experience with CRM (Salesforce, SalesLoft)
    • Knowledge of and appreciation for all styles of music
    • Social media savvy
    • Understanding of sales performance metrics
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Able to quickly and easily switch gears as projects develop
    • Comfortable making outbound calls/emails to clients
    • Great Initiative
