We have Job Opportunity for Software Developer Intern at Houston, TX with direct client. Please go through Detailed Job description below. 

Duration: 6-9 months. Contract only    

Here is a brief Job description:

Responsibilities: 

Create a web service front end for new and existing API(s). Use one’s strong knowledge of .NET Core Web API and C# to create a web service front end utilizing those API(s). Document code to the satisfaction of the project team lead. Practice good code management using tools such as Visual Studio and Gitlab. Interact with developers and other staff to define, design, and implement. 

Requirements: 

Strong knowledge of .NET Core Web API and C#. Computer programming experience and knowledge of software development process. Prefer college junior or higher but will consider other applicants with demonstrated programming experience in the relevant technologies. Computer science background preferred but other technical degrees will be considered; it is the elite coding skills that matter most. Critical thinking skills essential. Candidate will work with staff members so interpersonal skills are a must. GPA of 3.0 or better. Be a quick learner, think logically, and be open minded and creative. Good communication skills in English. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows family including Windows Server and Windows 10. Familiarity with or ability to learn Postman. Familiarity with Selenium or other automated web testing frameworks is a plus. Knowledge of Power Systems transmission or distribution industry is a big plus: if you are a power systems engineer who can work wonders with web APIs or if you are a web services guru who happens to know a bit about power systems, you have the kind of cross-discipline skills which is a core of our business success.
