  • Responsibilities

    Full Charge Bookkeeper / Accountant

    You will be responsible for daily accounting functions, accruals, financial statement preparation, preparing & examining financial records and performing general accounting functions for a fast-paced wood product manufacturing company.

    Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:

    Obtain primary financial data for accounting records

    Operate as full cycle Accounts Receivable, including preparation of daily invoices, Monthly statements and customer records maintenance

    Accounts Payable including: purchase orders, freight, freight damage claims, vendor returns and claims and vendor records maintenance

    Accounts Receivables including helping establish credit limits, coordinate freight with customers, and others related.

    Handle multiple bank and Credit Card reconciliations

    Prepare monthly financial statements, annual 1099s, travel expenses, and other expense reports

    Assist with the annual budget and audit process

    Maintain and properly retain files, financial document and ledgers

    Setup and maintain new customers and vendors

    Perform other related duties as may be requested by the CPA

    Reviewing time records and compiling payroll data

    Maintaining payroll records, Including time cards and workers com policy

    Handling the filing of payroll taxes, quarterly taxes, and the annual payroll reconciliation, using ADP or other Payroll company.

    Handling all HR functions for company, Vacations calendar, employee list, and others related

    Handling office supplies (purchase orders and inventory)

    Help maintaining updated all database of customers, vendors and transactions in QuickBooks & E2 shop and ODOO accounting (Job Cost application - will train)

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s or Associates degree with experience in Accounting / Finance or related field

    Proficient in accounting software (2 years minimum experience)

    Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

    Highly proficient with Excel, QuickBooks, Word, Outlook and general internet and pc use

    Excellent communication ability, both verbally and written in a positive manner

    2-5 years Full Charge Bookkeeping experience within a production environment

    ADP Payroll service experience a plus

    Ability to prioritize and multitask

    Deadline and detail-oriented
