    Data Architect

    Location: Beaverton

    2 year W2 ONLY Contract / Possible CTH 

    World wide leader in the Data Legal field is seeking a dynamic Data Architect / Leader who has experience in: Cloud, Agile, Snowflake, Azure, SSRS, SSIS, SQL Server, and building data warehouses.  Ideal candidate will have been a past Scrum Master, able to run small teams.  

    Seeking an experienced Data Architect who can lead a team to develop and scale the data discipline and business intelligence across the organization through transforming our current data architecture into a world-class center of excellence supporting internal operations and enabling strategic decision support for our clients who demand accurate and timely monitoring of class action and mass tort administration. You are a perfect fit for the role if you have a track record of driving data-driven decision making, performing analyses and translating data into valuable and action-oriented insights while developing a team of analysts to democratize data within our organization.

    Requirements:

    Education: 4 year college degree or equiv work experience

    Work : 4+ years experience in relational database concepts, SDLC, Agile/SCRUM

    Skills: Cloud, Snowflake, Azure, Data Warehouses, Kimball dimensional modeling (Erwin) & Business intelligence platforms (Microsoft SSRS/SSAS, Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy)

    Job Functions:

    10% Work with BSA's to translate business requirements into functional specifications

    20% Work with Data Services & Product Soft Dev to design new ways to present data

    20% Modify and extend dimensional data model

    20% deploy DDL to build physical database tables & views

    10% work with ETL developers to design batch & real-time streaming feeds with high data integrity

    10% work with report developers to build re-usable business objects and report templates

    10% train end users on set-service reporting and gather feedback for backlog

    Nice to Have: 

    • Exposure to ETL batch/streaming platforms (Microsoft SSIS, Kafka)

    • Exposure to Identity & Access Management (IAM), LDAP, security, data privacy

    • Exposure to application & systems integration (SOA, ESB)

    • Exposure to cloud infrastructure and services, SaaS/IaaS/PaaS
