    Job Description

    TITLE: REACT NATIVE FRONTEND DEVELOPER (REMOTE, PORTLAND OR)

    REPORTS TO: MOBILE TEAM LEAD

    We're seeking a talented React Native developer to join the mobile team. The mobile app is central to the success of the company and we need more hands on deck to implement new features and support the needs of our growing customer base. You need to be comfortable working both in isolation on small features / bugs, and in collaboration with the entire team to hammer out larger features. You will need a solid understanding of how to query, manipulate, and display data, an excitement for the rapidly changing React Native ecosystem, and a willingness to jump on high priority tickets as they come up. As we are remote we will be looking to you for clear communication on your day-to-day needs and progress.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Working closely with design and API developers on the implementation of new product features.
    • Responding to support requests and fixing bugs on the app.
    • Reviewing and testing pull requests.
    • Increasing test coverage.

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

    WE'RE LOOKING FOR ENGINEERS WHO:

    • Have 3+ years of developer experience and 1+ years of React Native experience.
    • A strong understanding of Javascript and modern component-base frameworks.
    • An ability to integrate and debug native dependencies.
    • Excited by your work, and proactive in staying up to date with the latest development to the tools we use.

    NICE TO HAVES

    • Knowledge of app store distribution processes
    • Experience with Typescript
    • Experience with native iOS and / or Android
