    Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts

    General Description: The APRN is responsible for promoting and demonstrating Parrish Healthcare’s Culture of Choice®; and is an Allied Health Professional member of Parrish Healthcare’s Medical Staff. The APRN is responsible for ensuring strategic goals and objectives are met or exceeded by providing the leadership, direction, and oversight to effectively fulfill our mission to provide Healing Experiences for Everyone all the Time® and achieve organizational strategic (Game Plan) goals. Seeking self-motivated experienced provider in clinical/interventional pain management to support a busy pain management clinic and program.

    Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include patient evaluations, ordering procedures, post-procedure follow-ups and medication management. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in trigger point injections, ultrasound guided intra-articular joint injections and experience in pain management contracts/prescribing to include weaning of prescribed medications.

    Evaluation and management in coding expertise, with ability to determine ICD-10 pain management codes

    Ability to document in EMR, ensuring completeness and accuracy in a timely manner

    Interpret imaging studies as needed (MRI, CT, X-Ray)

    Will serve as an educator, healthcare resource to include being a patient advocate

    Asses patient health through interviews and physical examinations while educating patients on overall wellness and health maintenance

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    Knows fire, disaster and safety procedures and regulations as pertains to the work area.

    Requirements:

    Formal Education:

    Master’s in Nursing required, Doctorate of Nursing preferred.

    Work Experience:

    Two or more years of clinical experience as a nursing practitioner at a physician practice or in a hospital with a related specialty is strongly preferred.

    Required Licenses, Certifications, Registrations:

    Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse licenses in the state.

    Current/Active DEA License required

    Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the specialty is preferred.

    National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited agency.

    BLS/ACLS through The American Heart Association
