FULL TIME, YEAR-ROUND POSITION, NO OVERNIGHT - Aqua Blue Pools seeks an experienced, licensed Class A CDL truck driver to serve our swimming pool construction department safely and on time. This position is ideal for the CDL driver who does not want to travel. We build pools year-round. This is NOT a seasonal position. Aqua Blue Pools has been in business for over 32 years and is one of the most established construction businesses in the Lowcountry. Wages commensurate with experience. Range is $18-$22 per hour. Candidate must have experience with:

Driving a Dump Truck

Load equipment

Heavy Equipment Operations

Run Bobcats

Run Mini Excavators

Additional responsibilities and requirements will include:

Load and transport pool construction equipment from the Aqua Blue Pools Hollywood, SC location to pool construction job sites in the Charleston, SC and Bluffton, SC metro areas. No overnight.

Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues.

Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.

Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.

Collect and verify instructions for each construction project.

Report defects, accidents, or violations.

Class A CDL License

South Carolina Driver's License

Clean Driving Record

Must be at least 21 years of age to apply

Cleaning up job sites, load construction debris with skid steer

Requirements:

Drive dump truck, load equipment, run bobcats, run mini excavators

Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.

No recent moving or driving violations.

Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations, trucking school diploma, and valid truck driving license.
